FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I have an idea for a tattoo. How do I start the process?
- We recommend taking a look at our artists portfolios, both on the website and on their own social medias(linked on the artist page). Once you find one you like, you can reach out directly to them and book a consult! This is a way for your artist to get a feel for your idea, and for you two to brainstorm ways to move forward.
Do I need an ID?
- Yes! If you're over 18, a drivers license will do!
- Under 18? You'll need either two forms of ID or a birth certificate, and a parent/guardian present.
Can I get my child's ears pierced?
- Yes! As long as your child is older than 5, and has appropriate ID(as outlined above) and a parent/guardian present, they can get their ears pierced!
Do tattoos hurt?
- While everyone has a different level of pain tolerance, yes, they will hurt. Tattoos are a permanent change to the body, a tradition that goes back thousands of years in every culture, but as of yet we've not discovered a way to make them completely painless.
Are tips included in the price of my Tattoo?
- No, tips are not included in the price of your tattoo. Tipping is highly encouraged! This is how your artist continues on their tattooing journey!
How much will my tattoo cost?
- Tattoos range in price for lots of reasons. The artist you choose, the size or detail of the piece, all of these can influence the final total. Our artists will walk you through their process and pricing as you talk with them!
Should I eat before getting tattooed?
- Absolutely you should! It's encouraged to get something good to eat and drink before your appointment, as well as to bring your own drinks or snacks to munch on while on breaks! You'd be surprised how often low blood sugar is the reason for an appointment to be cut short!
Are tattoos vegan?
- There are several different vegan ink brands, but this will depend on what types of ink your artist has invested in. It's good to reach out and check with them first!
What if I need a touch up?
- Each artist has their own rules for how they go about touch ups. Make sure to reach out to your chosen artist if you think you need some more work done!
Do you do cover ups?
- We have several artists who you can work with if you're looking for a coverup, give us a call or shoot us an email, and we'll make sure to help direct you to someone who may be able to help!
